Direct pay before you see your vet
Now, the reason you are reading this article is to find out more about how we pay our clients before they see the vet. Well, how we make this possible is using our unique Onecard.
What’s a Onecard?
Our easy-to-use Onecard allows you to pre-load funds for Vet and Routine Visit claims (as per your Policy Schedule) via our Oneplan App. It’s basically like a smart and simple debit card! Funds can be pre-loaded before visiting your vet.
Your Onecard is sent to you if you have chosen the tech-savvy option on our our Hospital, Primary, Classic, or Super Plans. Your Onecard will be delivered to your door within thirty (30) days after your first premium.
Before visiting the vet, simply preload your claim on the Oneplan App and we will transfer the necessary funds to your Onecard (in as little as a minute!) for you to use to swipe and pay for your vet’s visit or routine care at your vet’s office.
Pssst – Please note that funds cannot be preloaded in cases of Accident, Illness, Burial, Cremation, Euthanasia or Kennel Cover.
A little bit about the details
Once your vet visit is completed, you can then swipe your Onecard at the vet to your limit available (this limit is clearly outlined in our policy wording document). Don’t worry, we make these documents as simple as possible!
Just a heads up – We require a detailed copy of your invoice to validate your claim or to facilitate a refund, this can be snapped as a picture and uploaded in the app.
How to claim for vet visits and routine care
All you have to do is:
- Login to our Oneplan App
- Load a claim
- Money is loaded onto your Onecard
- Swipe at the vet like you would a normal debit card
What vets am I allowed to go to?
Here’s where the deal gets even sweeter. Instead of limiting you to a specified network of vets, we let you go to any vet of your choice. This means that, when you become a part of our Oneplan family, you don’t have to go through the hassle of searching for a new vet you and your pet like; you can keep your vet and help afford the bills too!
