Oneplan Pet Parents who haven’t yet and may potentially need to upload a pet insurance invoice on the Oneplan App, we have a (super easy) step-by-step guide right here for you.
So, you took your beloved fur baby to the vet and have had your pet claim prepaid to you using the Onecard and App. Now what? Well, it’s simpler than you might think.
How to load a pet invoice in the Oneplan App:
- Login to the App.
- Enter your policy number and password or use biometric access to log in.
- Using the menu items, select your Pet Plan.
- Select Claims, and then Claims History.
- Select the claim that you loaded funds for.
- Click on the + sign and snap a photo of your invoice.
- Once your invoice upload is a success, then a message will pop up on your screen.
And that’s it! You’re done. Pretty easy, right?
Why do I need to upload an invoice if Oneplan has already paid my claim?
That’s a valid point. Simply put, we need you to upload your invoice after your vet visit so that we can see what the funds were used for at the vet. As much as we would love to fund the fun outings for you and your furry best friend, our pet insurance only covers veterinary healthcare benefits.
What’s a Onecard?
Great question. Not all our pet insurance policyholders need a Onecard. This is because our unique and simple Onecard system is only needed for day-to-day claims such as vet visits and routine care.
On the Accident Plan you would not receive a Onecard.

In any case, a Onecard is our simple and awesome claiming system that fronts you with cash before you visit the vet.
How to preload your claim with your Onecard
Before visiting your vet of choice (because, as you know, we do not limit you to a specified network of veterinarians), simply log in to the Oneplan App, preload your Casualty or Pet Med Savings claim, and the funds will be loaded automatically to your Onecard (according to your limits outlined in your policy) within a minute!
Our Onecard system encourages and supports preventive care.
The reason we created our Onecard claims system is so that you don’t have to wait until you can afford to see the vet. We get that vet visits come with a hefty cost. Most pet insurers will only reimburse your claims within a week or so.
This system of claiming is outdated and does not put the needs of our clients first. And more importantly, the health of your precious pet.

We get that your furry loved ones are a part of your little family, which is why we know that you will do anything to ensure they get the care they need and deserve. But sometimes, when your pet looks a little unwell, you might put off seeing your vet in an attempt to save your bank account from the vet bills. Which means that your pet’s health might get progressively worse, which can lead to more expensive vet bills later on.
Prevention is better than cure
When you have an insurer who pays you before you see the vet, then you are more inclined to visit your vet when you think something might be wrong with your pet or for regular preventive care check-ups such as tick and flea control and deworming (which we cover in some of our pet insurance plans). We even cover prescription medication, vaccinations, x-rays, sterilisation, and so much more.
