What Does a Pet Hospital Plan Cost?
Our Pet Hospital Plan starts at R190 per month, which is exceptional value when you consider what you’re covered for.
You can add up to eight pets to one plan. Even better, you’ll receive:
- 10 percent discount for each pet from your second pet onwards
Because you shouldn’t have to choose which pet gets access to the best healthcare.
If you’d like even more value, you can add Pet Med Booster for only R35 per month, which gives you R350 in Additional Routine Care and waives any excesses.

Accidents
These are unexpected events that cause injury and require immediate veterinary attention. With our plan, your pet is covered for up to R38 000 per accident / event.
Illnesses
An illness refers to any unforeseen sickness or disease that occurs after your policy begins. Illness-related hospitalisation is covered up to R38 000 per event.
Kennel Fees
If you experience an unexpected health emergency and cannot care for your pet, we cover kennel fees at R180 per day, with an annual limit of R1 800.
Overall Annual Limit
Your total annual cover comes to a generous R48 500.
What Does a Pet Hospital Plan Not Cover?
A hospital plan is an affordable form of pet insurance, but it does not include:
- Day-to-day vet visits
- Routine care or wellness checks
- Vaccinations or standard health maintenance
