As part of this mission, we are continuously looking for ways to add even more value to our Pet Insurance offering, so that you can give your pet the best possible cover you can afford. 1. Enhanced Benefits, Same Affordability
Like we said, we just want to make sure you get as much out of your monthly premium as possible – that’s why we’ve increased the benefit limits and overall annual limits on our pet insurance plans.
This means you can enjoy MORE value and cover for your fur baby that you can use when making that dreaded trip to the vet. We know how important it is to make sure your pet gets the care they need when they’re under the weather, which is why we’re here to make sure the expensive and unexpected (or expected) vet bills are covered with more cover made available on our benefits, so you can have peace of mind that your pet gets the proper treatment they may need.
2. Introducing the NEW Diagnostics Booster Add On Product
We never want our Oneplan Pet Clients to feel limited in their options when it comes to treatment for their fur babies – which is why we’ve introduced the Diagnostic Booster Add On.
This benefit is designed to provide cover for diagnostic only procedures, monitoring, and observation related to the health and wellbeing of your beloved pets where no diagnosis or treatment plan is available. This benefit includes admission and/or hospitalisation exclusively for diagnostic purposes, including but not limited to further testing in the diagnosis of diseases or conditions. These diagnostic tests may involve advanced medical imaging such as MRI, Ultrasound, CT Scan, and sedation for biopsies when necessary, ensuring a thorough and specialised level of care. This does not change our hospital benefit – a diagnosis and treatment plan that meets the admission matrix will still be covered under the hospital benefit.
From just R120pm on the Pet Primary Plan, this benefit provides cover of up to R3000p.a. (up to R5000p.a. on the Classic Plan, and up to R5500p.a. on the Super Plan) specific to diagnostic procedures, giving you the freedom to do further investigation in the unfortunate event your fur baby develops a medical condition which requires a multitude of tests for the vet to know what the diagnosis is and provide the correct and best possible treatment.
3. The NEW Oneplan Pet Insurance Primary Plan: An Affordable Form of Comprehensive Cover
Starting at just R160pm*, our new Pet Primary Plan is designed to provide comprehensive cover without the hefty premium. On this plan, you can make sure your fur baby is covered for R1000 per annum towards vet visits whilst also having access to In-Hospital care in the event of an Accident or Illness up to R15 000 per year.
We developed the Primary Plan for those pet parents looking for more than just the basic emergency cover of the Accident Plan but want a lower premium than that of the comprehensive Classic Plan. By offering the best of both worlds, we’re doing our part to ensure that Pet Insurance is accessible to all pet owners, no matter their budget.
