Our dogs are our best friends. They are there for us when nobody else is and stick by our sides through it all. In saying this, can you even think of one good reason not to throw a birthday bash for your precious pooch? We think not.

1. Pick a present he or she will love
Have a look at your local pet store and see what toys they have that you think your dog will love. From a new chew toy, a Kong filled with peanut butter or even just a new collar. Treat your dog!
Streamers, balloons and party decor are the aim of the game! Of course, you need to make sure that any streamers and balloons are out fo reach for your precious pooch to sink her teeth into.

3. Make a cake your dog can eat

So put on your baking apron and get to mixing, making and baking!
